If you think about the planet we live on as a living being, you can see a record of its health in the glacial ice from around the planet.
Scientists who have studied climate change do not agree about which came first, the chicken or the egg, about the cause and effect of greenhouse gas and climate change. But it is easily determined by studying ice cores that carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) in the planet’s atmosphere change as the climate goes through a warming and cooling cycle.
The only thing you can really say about that warming and cooling cycle, with certainty, is that it is constantly changing.
The planet will get warm for a while, then cool. It will stay cool for a long period, but will eventually warm again. Our planet’s climactic cycle is like night and day, except the days are only a few hours long, and the nights last almost forever.
Examining data from the past allows us to know that the peak “day periods” only last a few thousand years, compared to the “night periods,” which can last for tens of thousands of years, or even longer.
We do not have to concern ourselves about how long the “night periods,” or “ice ages” last, because we will not live to see the end of the “day period,” or “interglacial period.” But we might be witnessing what happens when our planet reaches a peak temperature, or “high noon,” in our “planetary day.”
The planet becomes like a human body, which has been infected by disease, and gets too hot for the disease to survive.
The planet we live on does that too, and we can see it in the gases of the past. CO2 is expelled by us animals, and is absorbed by plants. The plants are nice enough to give us a little oxygen in return for our carbon, so everything balances out. Well, that is, until the animals take over, and upset the balance, as they eat their way into a point in which there is no longer any plants to eat.
It takes thousands of years to go from a point of being out of balance, to a point of peak tolerance of animals. We can see the result of massive “die-offs” in the past, if we analyze historical gas levels, and account for their change.
We know the cause of both gases, that rise and fall with the planet’s temperature, so we can see the “health of the planet,” if we consider rising levels of CO2 as being “healthy.” Animals emit CO2, so we can tell what the population level of animals were, as the temperature of our planet made its change from glacial to interglacial.
Something happens that everyone should know; if they want to live through it.
Prophets from around the world gave us their views of what we should be aware of, as they described as the “end of days,” “latter days,” and what those days would be night, as our planet started its journey into the night.
